Algorithm for creating alpha blends demonstrated in this application. Among other things, you can use it to draw 8-bit greyscale masked bitmaps and XP-style icons(shadow and anti-aliased).

Instructions: Click the link below to download the code. Select 'Save' from the IE popup dialog. Once downloaded, open the .zip file from your local drive using WinZip or a comparable program to view the contents.
