Printer and Screen Fonts Viewer/Printer

Version Compatibility: Visual Basic 6

More information:
This Utility displays and/or prints all available screen and printer fonts. It shows how to use the screen or printer object to extract the fonts and then display or print the fonts in a WYSIWYG manner. This utility also compares the screen fonts to the printer fonts and displays the fonts that aren't found on the printer. This can be helpful when selecting fonts for your app and checking your user's printer for compatability.

Directions: The default FontObject is the screen fonts. In order to change to the printer/screen fonts or compare the screen and printer fonts, use the "Select Font" from the File drop down menu. To close the print preview select "Close preview" from the File dropdown menu.

Viewer Navigation: Once the object font is displayed use the plus "+" key, the File menu "Next Page" or "Ctrl + N" to page forward. When the last page is displayed the Next page keys will reposition to the first page. At anytime selecting or reselecting the font from the file menu will reposition to the first page.

To navigate within each page, as usual, the scroll bars can be used along with pageup, pagedown keys for large scroll changes and the navigational arrows for small scroll changes.
