BoS: Shell replacement for Windows 98 and 2000

Author: Brian
Category: System/API
Type: Applications
Difficulty: Advanced

Version Compatibility:  Visual Basic 6

More information: BoS is a replacement shell for Explorer. It replaces the drab gray start button and taskbar with a translucent, skinnable bar. BoS reimplements almost everything that Explorer does, including the taskbar, start menu, clock, system tray, and even desktop icons that support OLE drag and drop.

Warning: You need Windows 98 or 2000 to use this code. You must also read the instructions under the installation section. You will be required to modify the system.ini file to replace the Shell line. Be sure that whatever directory you place the .exe and and supporting files in conforms to the DOS 8.3 naming standard.

P.S: I need people to create skins. Click on "Skin Readme" in the help section of the start menu for information on how to make your own skins. Email all skins, zipped, to ceo@pokecenter2000.com.
